(still) absolutely enamored by these displays on the ICE T

an old looking but quite high contrast monochrome LCD of a relatively small pixel density, the individual pixels are not hard to spot. it's surrounded by gray plastic in a circular shape, as if it were part of a wall (i don't know how to describe it any better). in white text on a black background it says "ICE 20", "Wien Hbf", "Frankfurt(M)Hbf" and other stations in between. the design is very simple, the font looks like a normal sans-serif typeface though with some geometric or "mechanical" elements - it may have been upscaled from a smaller size

another display on the train, this one is like a red led sign behind a one way mirror above the door to the area between the carriages, it looks very retro (retrofuturistic?)
