and for ranilas otala: "character with their daemon (or animal familiar.)" and "draw character with a mask or mirror used to represent an aspect of themselves."
ranilas is a retired void-god and heavily depressed bog witch. the daemon is a black olm, a cave-dwelling amphibian capable of going still and slowing its metabolism to a crawl to survive up to ten years without eating when food is scarce. ranilas has a curse that is effectively metaphorical/magnified executive dysfunction, compounded by the way ne and nir environment temporarily become a swampy pile of rotting logs and decomposition when ne remains still for too long
