For reference, I ran paper on a Oneplus 5T running postmarketOS edge here, baremetal (i.e no container) with openJDK 23

This is using Aikar's flags and 1G of memory allocated
A minecraft server with a tick query result and a bunch of F3 info The relevant information is that in the top left of the window, it shows the connected-to server being a Paper server, and in the bottom left the tick query result giving me a time-per-tick of 5 milliseconds on average.

@alexia how would i go about replicating this without actually obtaining that device

@alexia if so here you go i guess...? i've had to tweak the c2me config some, set midTickChunkTasksInterval = 0 and lower threadPoolPriority one step, now i more or less get ~5 mspt

@soop how's it perform when new chunks are being generated?

@alexia iirc the fabric setup goes faster than paper with more resultant mspt instability, it occasionally dips over 50 for one or two ticks but will generally keep up fine

@alexia after some warmup and capping the client's framerate it's plain great actually, better than i'd expected

(right, yes i'm working at a disadvantage here due to also needing to run my client on the same machine)

Also if i overclock the max tps (set it to like 200 instead of 20) mspt goes down, and i suspect it's because at normal tps the CPU downclocks due to not having much to do

@alexia so with a high tps target i get like 4 mspt idling
