I've had a cursed Chevre in my Wild World save for months. Her house is glitched, and her bed goes out of bounds no matter how she arranges her furniture. There's also music playing but no visible music player. She says her last town was named "Another" and she saw her last player 7200+ days ago, or 19+ years.
You can roll on the bed, clipping to the other side of the wall
How is the 9th slot this much of a black box?
A lot of game mechanics are a black box in the series. It's insane. They heavily pivoted away from some of the arcane mechanics away that were at play such as luck, feng shui, and animal tracks. Additionally, older games it was much more maintenance to keep a villager. If they moved, they'd enter an invisible slot where they can be transmitted to another player's 9th slot via multiplayer or tag mode. Sometimes though, a villager will transmit to friends of friends and we have no idea how this happens. It's just a total mystery to everyone
I believe it's through that process I acquired Chevre
I'll take a look at her on a save editor to see if I can shed any light. I'm no genius though, so idk if it's even worth looking at. I don''t know much about computers.
It's gonna be a Ghost in the Shell moment
