@jame one could argue this is fine if the alternative is useless feature creep (not implying ff has some missing features or improvements that would be nice)

that aside, if updates are just security patches why bother raising the major version anyway

@driftini exactly yeah, it seems like they only started bumping the major version so often just to keep up with chromium browsers. like the reason xbox doesn't just call the series x "xbox 4" because grandmas will see it next to the ps5 at the store and think lower version = worse lol
