@ari ive converted to plasma as of a few months ago and it's so fucking nice
aside from some animations looking tacky it's legit so nice to actually have a fully functional de (looks at gnome) that doesnt actually get worse after every single update (looks at windows)
@ari@halva i liked gnome a lot for having a more macos feel to it (i prefer the aesthetics a lot), but yeah kde does seem to sweep in terms of functionality
@ari you can copy macos on plasma tho 
the qt/kirigami apps already practically follow the ui logic of os x (aside from those new ios app ports) and the panel layout is very trivial to change
