think i might uninstall arc browser now. shame, i really liked its clean design and spaces feature being able to quickly flick between my personal and college stuff.
@mae@wetdry.world didn't they include that ai downloads thing a while ago where it would literally send all of the file names of the stuff you download to chatgpt or something just so it could sort it or whatever
@sneexy yeah, arc max. i disabled most of the ai features as soon as they came out (or.. i think they were opt in thankfully?)
honestly i wouldnt mind the feature if it was just like a shortcut to open a chatgpt conversation and didnt literally send everything you fucking download, hover or search to OpenAI
@mae literally why do people think chatgpt will replace search engines? When I do a search I want a website, not the AI equivalent of a drunk uncle at the barbecue bullshitting about the topic
