whipping up a small #alttext when you're posting an image or video isn't that hard. It's not a big deal, takes less than a minute, and for this little effort, you help a bunch of other people to read your post.
honestly, i can't think of a single good reason why you wouldn't just do it. or am i missing something here?
@lucydev doing alt text sometimes takes spoons I don't have. It *is* an effort, even if a small one. I always post alt text, but there are definitely times I don't post an image at all because doing the alt text would be too much.
