Chrome Mask, an extension for that spoofs it to be Chrome on detected incompatible sites, developed by a Firefox dev

Why did this take so long to exist...? lol. I feel like it should be a built in feature tbh, but at least we got this now

edit: it's not automatic! i thought it used the WebCompat crowdsourced stuff, no, it just makes spoofing a simple 1-click toggle for the user :-)

@jame while this is easier, you could use user agent spoofer and select latest chrome for ages now :) this looks more user-friendly though!

@QuadRadical well yeah, to be honest i just never liked dealing with that stuff. i tried 3 different ones they all feel really clunky to use.
i like how automatic and simple this one is 🤷

@jame While it isn't really a built-in feature in terms of discoverability, and this extension is a little bit more than that, you can spoof User agent from about:config (like what LibreWolf does, for example)
