the PS3 is sorta tied with the iPod touch 5 as the least powerful device that can run Guitar Hero Live and that's just kinda funny to me
the iPod touch has more RAM and a higher core count, even! slower cores though and a worse GPU
@ipg are you suggesting the PS3 is, in fact, less powerful than the console with no games?
my tldr was in theory cell is more performant than any of the PPC setups used on the 360 or wii u but in practice it's the shittiest to work with
unless the contest is only PPC performance in which case oh boy yeah it is
@brokenscholar GHL does not use the SPUs so i'm disqualifying those
@ipg lol that's incredibly acceptable given the scope of the game but also the idea of a retail PS3 game in 2015 not using the SPUs...
i don't know I kind of figured the SPU neglect ended it's fever around 2009
@brokenscholar the game in question *is* just a glorified mp4 player with a 3d rendered highway consisting of less than 1000 tris on top of it, so it doesn't surprise me
