For people who follow me on other platforms you've probably noticed that i'm almost exclusively posting about this WIP 3D model.

I feel like one of the things I complain most about 3D models is that they just look "off" and they almost never really take advantage of what I think most accentuates a character and their personality.
I would likely never actually commission a 3D model of my sona, largely because I don't think I would be a very enjoyable customer.

In the spirit of putting my money where my mouth is, I felt like the only way I would ever be happy with a 3D model of my sona would be if I made it myself.

I've had lax blender experience, largely in the realm to help my 2D art avenues, so this is the first real attempt to create a 3D model for 3D sake that I'm really proud of.

One of my main goals for this model was to make something that not only looks good with high subdivisions, while also looking good without any subdivisions.

If I'd want to port this model into as many stupid fucking games as I possibly can, I'd like to do it to the ones that have even the most restrictive of engine limitations.

@ioletsgo i'm wishing you the best! have you seen looptools (default addon)? it's been a godsend with keeping my topology clean

@swiftyshq I think I've heard of it.
Unfortunately is usefulness has almost entirely passed by me as i've gotten a lot of the more difficult work done.

@ioletsgo damn totally fair! in any case i look forward to more of your progress :D

@swiftyshq Minus the head (the hair is very much a WIP, especially in the back, and plus this reply is mostly about the body) I only really have the arms and the feet to slog over.

I'm not at all good with arms and the sketch i drew is kinda hot garbage i'll have to redo it

@ioletsgo it's looking really good so far, honestly!! i think the proportions are really great
