The first console emulator for the iOS App Store (post-rule change that didn’t rely on sneaking it in as hidden functionality) has released.
I don’t think I can recommend it though. It’s called iGBA and it does work quite well, but I’m pretty sure a good chunk of the code (if not all of it) was stolen from @rileytestut ‘s GBA4iOS. The UI is so damn similar and the skins are straight up the same skins. It’s cool to see emulators on the App Store but again, I can’t recommend it in good faith since I’m pretty sure it’s code theft.
@rileytestut UPDATE: Apple removed it because it was a ripoff of GBA4iOS and not because of it emulating the GBA, so yeah.
I'm gonna give Apple the benefit of the doubt here and say that they made a mistake here. I kinda doubt they were very familiar with many (if any) apps not distributed through their own means (app store, testflight, etc.). But it really shouldn't have happened this way.
UPDATE 2: The REAL GBA4iOS (or rather, it's successor, Delta) has been approved for App Store release. This is amazing to hear and I'm glad to see it.
