A huge loss for emulation today.
The Switch emulator Yuzu, which can be used to emulate Splatoon 2 and 3 as well as Animal Crossing New Horizons was recently sued. I didn't feel like reporting on the situation at the time because I didn't feel like it largely affected us (I don't know why you would want to emulate Splatoon in Yuzu anyways, Ryujinx makes more sense imo).
We have now found out that the team behind the emulator has agreed to settle with Nintendo for $2.4M which means anything relating to the Yuzu emulator will disappear. We're currently unsure about what this means for #Citra considering it has a similar development team.

@splatoonI am personally hoping nothing happens to Citra given the same development team. I'm not as bothered regarding Switch emulation as 3DS emulation.
3DS is older hardware and it personally allowed me to experience some 3DS classics before picking up a 3DS of my own around 2 years ago.
If anything does happen to Citra, I'd like to give a shout-out to @mikage which is a 3DS emulator you might want to check out.

@splatoonThe developers of Yuzu have made an official statement.
If I am interpreting this correctly, Citra could potentially be going too.

@splatoon@akatsukilevi I have a copy of Yuzu installed if I ever want to play stuff on it but there definitely are a few backups going around
