@esm At this point if people start broadly banning .social I would understand. They know that spam is a problem in an instance seeking indefinite growth without adequate moderation. They just don’t care.
@psychictides @esm spam is a problem inherent to public registration instances no matter how big or small and framing it as ".social should be blocked" because it's the easiest target feels somewhat disingenuous, especially when the accounts themselves usually get banned quickly from .social
