oh my god arch HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE MY FUCKING CONTROLLER WORK

@ezio what kernel package are you using

Quiet public
@esm just the regular linux package iirc
Quiet public

@ezio try and see if linux-zen has it, it's in the official repos and tends to have some desktop-oriented modules that the regular package doesn't

Quiet public
@esm how do i switch kernels then, do i have to uninstall linux?
Quiet public
@ezio @esm you can install both side by side iirc
Quiet public
@ezio @esm not sure if you need to run grub-mkconfig afterwards, but it may be a good idea to do that after installing it to get it to appear there
Quiet public
@mikoto @esm will try that ig, hang on
Quiet public
@mikoto @esm yea ok linux-zen was the fix

but thats still so bloody stupid, arch install docs shouldve mentioned linux-zen :mikoto_sigh:

@ezio you can keep both of them installed, just do sudo pacman -S linux-zen linux-zen-headers and a new entry should appear in your boot manager
