A while ago I discovered someone made an e-ink Portal-inspired calendar. Well last week I finally caved, and bought all the parts to make my own!

This was my first foray into using an ESP32 (as well as soldering) so all things considered, I'm happy that it's running at all given my lack of skills in the areas.

If you want to make your own, the printables page has the models and a link to the GH with the code, BoM, and build instructions:

Перестал работать #Portal2 или что-то другое из игрушек на обновившемся #linux ?
При запуске в терминале пишет:

failed to dlopen engine.so error=engine.so: cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires: Invalid argument
...
AppFramework : Unable to load module engine.so!

Почти наверняка это из-за того, что изменилась версия #glibc

/usr/lib/libc.so.6
GNU C Library (GNU libc) stable release version 2.41.

И вот раз так — раз оно уже 2.41, тогда можно спокойно пропатчить два бинарника:

patchelf --clear-execstack /path/to/Portal2/game/bin/linux32/engine.so

patchelf --clear-execstack /path/to/Portal2/game/bin/linux32/valve_avi.so

Всё, будет работать как и раньше :)

okay hear me out so in Team Fortress two there's an item called the "Wheatley Zapper" and and they have voice lines and everything and now in portal 2 we have the perpetual testing initiative which has a infinite amount of universes so my theory is that in a Parallel universe Cave Johnson was able to obtain Australium and live past his chronic illness

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

EDIT: The game has been given away. Thanks for boosting! :)

At the risk of blowing up my notifications… in case anyone here doesn't yet have Portal 2 and would like to play it, I have this free code I got ages ago from a board game. I *think* it should still work? At least there's no expiration.

Give me a reply and I'll pick someone at my own discretion.

And so, the Portal stream series, too, comes to an end. And, turns out, I both was and was not wrong when I said you couldn't avoid the ending of Aperture Tag.

Either way, I hope you enjoyed going through these, what, 5 games with me. Even though it took me surprisingly little time to go through the stories of each of these games, I think that's mostly because I had already cleared most of them multiple times and remembered a lot of the puzzles.

I will be posting another game selection poll shortly, to determine what next Wednesday's stream is going to be.

As usual, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:

We finished Portal: Revolution! And ended up on the moon. Whoops.

Now we're back in Aperture Science, have successfully forced Wheatley into reviving GLaDOS, subsequently forced Wheatley to help us, and finally forced Wheatley to take over the facility. Now we're (almost) literally down in the dumps, AKA Aperture Science Innovators, and I'm looking forward to meeting Cave Johnson again. With the lemons!

As always, I hope everyone enjoyed today's stream. Thank you all for joining :blobcatHeart:
