it's been the wrong folder for a while as well, the x86_64 subdirectory isn't checked and that's where your "illegal ini file" would live
it's also where the OpenComposite configuration ini files will be loaded from as well as other quality of life DLL mods, but those don't matter, any ini must be a pirate!
