@jerry everything about Brave feels designed to answer the question “how can we make a noble ideal seem sketchy as hell”
so yugioh
there's an anime and a manga that have a story, and the cards depict characters and stories, but the characters and stories in the cards aren't those from the manga and anime. does this indicate that the characters and stories in the cards are fictional even within the universe of the anime and manga?
if so, how is that reconciled with the one card that DOES depict an event from the anime
are all these stories equally fictional and share a connection only through the existence of the game?
IIt's important to note that Masto (and the fediverse) is not an 'alternative Twitter'. It's an entirely different platform that has its own unique culture. We don't chase likes or follows or popularity, we don't present as brands or 'personalities'. We care about each others' personal lives and wholesome engagement on a more individual level.
If you're going to use a Masto to Twitter crossposter, please keep this in mind, and ideally, cross post from here to there, and not there to here.
