they should just invent a monitor that fits exactly my needs and wants. is a 16:10/3:2 monitor with 120Hz+ refresh rate and a miniLED/OLED/whatever panel with HDR support. why does nobody make this?
i dont want ultra widescreen patches for games. i want 4:3/3:2/16:10 patches for games that refuse to play nice at anything thinner than 16:9
@ipg for fucking real, they should really invent good monitors
@ipg
No VRR in your ideal display?
@ipg it's 60Hz and really not what you're actually looking for but have you seen this product https://www.asus.com/us/displays-desktops/monitors/zenscreen/zenscreen-duo-oled-mq149cd/
@ipg this one technically meets everything you said but like. it's 16-inch and DisplayHDR 400 https://www.asus.com/us/displays-desktops/monitors/zenscreen/asus-zenscreen-mb16qhg/
@ipg there's this reasonably sized 3:2 60Hz DisplayHDR 400 "programming monitor" with "advanced coding modes" https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/programming/rd280u.html
@ipg there are laptop panels that meet that specification but they aren't particularly large
