thinking about how Microsoft explicitly states that all voice/video/text chat done on an Xbox 360 via a P2P connection must be visible over plaintext, while all game data must be sent encrypted

New here? Remember that Twitter is optimized to make you into passive consumers, by en(r/g)aging you with content that you don't choose yourself.
