postcards, pre-owned

a plastic container and wooden box full of postcards, next to stacks of cd jewel cases and a box of utensils. the postcards have slightly worn edges and the backs are filled out. the wooden box has a label which says "Karten je 0,20 Euro"

this phone was missing the handset

a dirty payphone up close, the amber backlit monochrome lcd says "Entschuldigung, zur Zeit gestört" (roughly meaning "Sorry, temporarily out of service" as far as i understand). the metal body of the phone has some kind of scribbles over it in white marker and the handset is off-hook
