@yukijoou bold of a massive web 2.0 site owned by a massive corporation opting to "not misuse cookies"
what does that even mean anymore- genuinely asking as there are some instances were i would like to utilise cookies in my own projects but want to know best practices
@ari according to the gh blog post [github.blog], you only have to use a cookie banner if you do any tracking/advertising/… with the cookies you place. if you’re using cookies to keep a user logged in, it’s fine
